When is the RSVP deadline?

What is the suggested attire?

The welcome party on Friday is casual. For the ceremony and reception on Saturday, we want you to wear what makes you feel comfortable at a wedding! If you’re looking for specific guidance, we suggest semi-formal attire (think cocktail dresses, buttondown shirt or suit and tie/ bowtie).

What should I expect for the welcome party?

The welcome party is casual - please drop in anytime from 5:30-8PM and stay as long as you like! There will be buffet food available and cash bar.

Are kids welcome?

Although we love your little ones, kids will not be included in the wedding ceremony or reception (unless their names are specifically listed on your invitation).

Where should I stay?

Please check our housing tab for our recommendations on where to stay. Our venue is on the “quietside” of MDI, so if you want to be closest to the venue, the best options are typically Airbnb or VRBO. The Claremont Hotel in Southwest Harbor is the closest hotel to the venue, but it is on the pricier side. There are way more options at all price ranges in Bar Harbor. Overall, we recommend you book your accommodations ASAP, as housing options fill up fast with folks traveling from all over to see the fall colors in Acadia. What time should I arrive?

Our ceremony begins at 4pm sharp - please arrive between 3:30 and 3:45pm to get settled. The reception will begin around 4:30pm.

How do I get to the venue?

There will be parking on site, but we definitely recommend consolidating / sharing a car with friends and family to limit the total number of vehicles. If it seems like enough people will be staying in one place, we might consider figuring out some kind of bus/van transport, so stay tuned on that as we get closer to the event.

What will the weather be like?

Coastal Maine weather can be unpredictable. It could be 70s and sunny or it could be 40s and rainy! Either way, it’s likely to get cooler in the evening, so be sure to bring some layers. The ceremony will take place outside, but dinner and dancing will be in a tent.
